2. he didn’t ALWAYS have his stutter. it developed by the time he was six. also it’s genetic, not any sort of brain trauma or anything - his dad had a stutter when he was young too, but went to speech therapy and eventually fixed it.

3. speaking of which HE DOES HAVE A DAD YALL!!! HE’S ALWAYS OVERSEAS FOR WORK!! VEGA DADDY FOR THE WIN!! and no he’s not abusive or anything either lmao he’s just a busy man.

1. yes she lived in the UK up until she was fourteen. she’s sixteen now. so she’s only been in the USA for about two years and she regrets coming.

Sam: pretty light sleeper. he’ll wake up whenever he hears footsteps, or when his curtains blow in the wind, or when the fridge turns on. he usually peeks under his eyelashes and then just goes back to sleep.

Evelyn: light sleeper. any little noise makes her sit up and check her surroundings, even if it’s just her furnace turning on. she’s still half asleep when this happens though, so she goes back to sleep pretty easily too.

Thomas: DEEP FUCKING SLEEPER LMAO. you think he cares if there’s a nuclear war outside his window? bro as long as it don’t make one side of his pillow hot…

Lucian: deep sleeper when it comes to noise, light sleeper when it comes to any movement in the room. if anyone touches him, he’s up. if anyone applies pressure to the mattress, he’s up. if any footsteps are in the room, he’s up. you get the point. he will jerk awake if he feels someone else is there with him. (trauma) it’s not so easy for him to lay back down either. depending on what happened, he usually stays up for the rest of night. (this improves if kai’s sleeping with him bc he feels safe.)

👔Design process for [x] character 

oh my god guys ask me about my magical girl designs and i will go insane i will type up a whole essay. i'll talk about kyrie cause i like her a lot

here's the design! so she drowned (or rather, was drowned by someone else) at 16 after being stalked for a couple months and eventually kidnapped. not exactly the lightest story, but bc it was so traumatic her brain erased the memories, and she doesn't find out the real cause of death until much later in the story, when kye comes across a guy who lived in kyrie's town and gets the full story.

her outfit is themed after ophelia for. obvious reasons. i looked up paintings/common interpretations of ophelia and found that she was commonly depicted in a white and gold dress with reddish-brown hair half up. oh, and flowers. so i ran with that. the white streaks in her hair were actually not part of the initial plan, but when i was using the bucket tool it left blank streaks and i just thought it looked nice.

for the flowers i chose forget-me-nots because she loses her memory, and then the hands on the skirt represent her fight to stay alive (both while drowning and before) and how she reached out for help in the months leading up to her death but no one answered. she's also, in a way, reaching for her lost memories, who she used to be, etc etc. the blue thingy in the back was initially supposed to be a mermaid tail as like. a single callback to the little mermaid (and the fact that she was a really good swimmer, so it's ironic that she drowned), but i took the mermaid aspect out & added in the two eyes.

the eyes are like. the feeling of being watched. the eye at the front will always look at kyrie no matter what, and the eye in the back will look at anyone else it can find, as if pleading for help. i just noticed the bracelet? not sure why that's there. probably just for fun. anyways the ring with the star on it is from a play called 'the princess who had no name', which is about a princess with amnesia who's trying to find out who she is and where she came from.

and finally, the weapon! it's meant to be a sparkler, like the little fireworks yk? it's a callback to the very first draft of her character from like 2 years ago, back when the kyries shared the name lylie instead & i had written absolutely nothing about her character. but i was reading through the old plot/character info a while ago and i found out she apparently really liked fireworks??? that was like my only piece of info about her. i figured since she'd changed so much it was only fair i put a little something from her roots. but the sparkler can also represent how 'bright' she appears to be; people are drawn towards her, for better or worse.

📆Earliest fandom you did fanart for/first fanart

the first fandom i remember like really being hyperfixated on was.... miraculous ladybug................. BUT i didn't make any fanart for it, so instead you get the very first real piece of art i ever made on my computer :)

shoutout to me for drawing those wings by hand. i didn't know how to use the flip tool so i just spent like 4 hours trying to make them symmetrical. and now i can't even remember how to draw butterfly wings. smh

i'll go with that aubrey piece from one of the earliest questions. i like how the emotions came across in both her expression and the coloring, and how much more fluid the pose is. i think the shading & rendering is neat. overall it's a big improvement from the piece i was redrawing so im really proud of that & it's nice to see how far i've come in a relatively short amount of time

⏳Things you’d do differently with [x] drawing

using the same drawing, uhh... idk there's some stuff with the proportions that like. sometimes looks fine to me and sometimes looks off? i really just eyeball anatomy and stuff so it's not always particularly Good. i like the colors i have here but they're not the colors i was intending to use. i didn't really know how to draw the jacket and everything i did with the top just looked strange so they're not As Detailed or 'good' as they probably could be? there's parts where i got lazy and all that but all in all i really like this drawing and nothing big really jumps out at me, these are all just nitpicks

lily of the valley by daniel has always had a special place in your heart, the song represents the love you want to give / receive and now you have a chance at that. you wait patiently for jeongin outside your house, you wanted to wear a dress but the weather didn’t agree. it was a whopping 27°f or -2°c but its okay, your makeup makes up for the outfit.

ring.. ring.. you snap back to reality, ‘the loml’ illuminates on your screen, “hihi jeongin! are you outside?” you fidle with a strand of your hair, “yeah, im here” his voice echoes out of your phone speaker, you look out the window to find him as he answers your question, “alright im coming out, see you in a sec!!” the butterflies in your stomach went rabid, you’ve never felt this feeling before, excitement mixed with nervousness. you’re lucky to have experienced this feeling with him.

you take one last glance at yourself in the mirror of your home, not far from the cafe, you looked cute but you were nervous on what jeongin will think of you when youre not in uniform.

you spot his notorious hair in the window of a dark maroon car, woah.. is that a ferrari f40?? “jeongin, hi!!” you run up to him, radiating a smile at the blond. “hi yn!” he quickly gets out of his car and opens the passengers seat, “you look lovely today!” his smile was soft and gentle, full of kindness and passion.

you were shocked that he made the effort to get out of his seat and open the door for you, “what a gentleman, inniee” you tease him, “thank you, prince charming.” you were careful while getting in the seat since the car had a low exterior.

bang! the drivers seat was occupied again, you can’t believe that you’re sitting in the car of the guy you thought you wouldn’t be able to see again. “here, i made you flowers!” he hands you the yellow and pink crocheted flowers. he’s so sweet, he reminds you of the song “bonfire” by wto.

“oh my god, thank you so much!!” you place your purse on your lap, “i got you some candy and flowers! some pretty flowers for a pretty boy!” you say, proudly .

“ahhhkxnd, you get me so flustered” jeongin covers his face, his ears are so red.. “thank you yn-ah” he reaches over to you to recieve his present.

while you were telling him a story, you spotted a tteokkochi vendor, “ohemgee, tteokkochi!!” you pointed at the man, “do you want some, innie? ill pay!” you put your hands on his shoulders and shake him lightly.

“its alright, ill pay” he grabs your hands and stands up, he dropped one hand but one still remained intertwined with his fingers, “cmon stand up, do u want me to carry you??” he said teasingly

after you two order, the vendor gets straight to work. “here.” the man hands out the tteokkochi, “ohmygee yn, whats that!???!” jeongin points behind you to distract you while he pays for the food. “thank you!” he grabs the food.

“youre so annoying, i wanted to pay!!” you joke around, “ouch ynn, youre hurting me..” you both giggle, he returns the joke. you both warmed up to each other really quickly since you two had similar personalities.

💯 What is my muse’s ideal date?

I THINK?? Hyuk enjoys spots that allow space for further intimacy --- and not strictly the physical kind (though, I mean, he wouldn’t mind the occasional & bashful grazing of hands, the sudden nudges, the little glances, the lowkey flirting, etc.), but the kind where you can get to know more about someone through conversations and focus on mannerisms and actions, instead of concentrating on distractions that are outside the sphere built between his companion and himself. Places like parks, beaches, art museums, small shops...even staying in to do an activity together...he likes that, wouldn’t mind it in the slightest. HE ALSO wouldn’t mind going to more crowded places (in main arc, at least; in arc two packed places disorient him a little there--)  if that’s what his companion would like, absolutely, but I believe he’d end up getting grumpy at something in the end LMAO, y’know this one here has a short fuse IWUEHDUDH---

👠 What was my muse’s last serious relationship like?

It was years ago, with a girl he met by chance. The details of how they met are still kind of blurry in my mind (there’s an idea but it’s not solid IUWHEDH), but I’m sure it was a matter of happenstance, since Hyuk doesn’t really seek when it comes to these things. The relationship was nice in the beginning; enjoyable conversations and some topics they had in common. She was good-natured, gracious; smart...but she also wore her heart on her sleeve in comparison to Hyuk, who is more private and tends to unravel very slowly with the subject of emotions. There was a point in their relationship where she sort of...expected Hyuk to be the same: Expose his true emotions, make himself vulnerable. AND, I MEAN, that was okay, it was a way to show that she was interested in knowing more about him, but after a while Hyuk felt he was being rushed (the once subtle prodding became more prevalent and he didn’t like that).  So things sorta...started to crumble from there on. Hyuk’s schedule was also hectic most of the time, especially when dealing with big cases that required him to be on the job for most of the day, which was another factor to end things. It was a mutual break-up; Hyuk was honest with her and they both came to the conclusion that the relationship wasn’t working.  Hyuk wasn’t too heartbroken about it because, even though the relationship was serious to him, it didn’t get in-depth. He also thought the break-up was for the best so no hard feelings or anything. I ALSO THINK (if that’s okay with you) that Hyuk told Patrick about it (because he tells him everything c’mon--IUWHEDIUH). AND I also believe there was a moment where she asked Hyuk if he had any friends and that’s when the topic of Patrick was touched and it was one of the few topics he wouldn’t shut up about (AKA ‘ask me about my best friend, I’ll tell you the 128318391233013901 reasons why he’s the best’) until the subject was changed 😂.

Uhh...be Patrick Myungdae Grace? I’M KIDDING (or am I) IUHWEIUDHAKSH--- There aren’t any...specific requirements that need to be fulfilled, as in...Hyuk is not going to be carrying a list and see if someone is going to check all the boxes 😂 BUT there are some things that he unconsciously finds appealing or things that cause him to be more drawn to others: ⚫ When someone has passions, or a bold interest toward something, whether it is a profession or a hobby or a topic in particular. He enjoys the sparkle of that? The life it brings, if that makes sense?  ⚫ Patience, because Hyuk is a tough nut to crack 🙃, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. It takes him a while to let his guard down, emotionally speaking.  ⚫ Goodness of heart, people who are in touch with kindness, who have humble intentions, who aren’t interested in materialistic things (also people who aren’t stuck-up because BOYYY if he catches you being snooty he’s gonna slap you with a newspaper--).  ⚫ Overall, someone who...complements his firecracker side? ⚫ Touch and being touched: This one is really up there, I believe. Being able to explore the bareness of skin with his hands, appreciate every inch and crevice he can find; dote on flesh not just with his fingers but also with his lips and the ghost of his breath --- seriously sign him up, he’s going to try to memorize every region of the map. It also gets him weak when he’s touched like that in return and I’m guessing he’s the type to give further access to his skin, like...if someone kisses his neck, catch him tilting his head to a side to so there’s more terrain to explore; if someone touches his chest, catch him arching his back 🙃 this applies to both arcs. BASICALLY?? LET HIM HOLD, KISS, CUDDLE, ADORE, TOUCH---he could even...get into other versions of touch (biting, scratching---) bUT ONLY IF his partner allows (though if he...gets too aroused there’s a chance he might scratch or dig his nails in accident and then apologize---).  ⚫ Being teased (and tease in return if allowed): Play the ‘how long will it take for the kettle to boil’  game with him IWHEDUWHEDIUH, I think he likes this one in particular because it gives room to explore more about his partner’s preferences and also new ways to push buttons and see what might be the reaction. 🍬 Is my muse a sub, dom, or switch?

Hyuk’s a switch. If he’s getting intimate with someone, then it means there’s trust and comfort and genuine love and care, so in this instance he doesn’t mind letting go of the level of control he usually has with other parts of his life, nor does he mind taking control if that’s what’s wanted. He really goes with the flow in this case, tries to see what makes his partner comfortable and goes from there. He might hesitate at first when it comes to voicing what he likes or even trying to initiate things (due to years of rust and the initial embarrassment/awkwardness LMAO WIEDHUWEDH --- at least on main arc, in arc two I think it’d be a bit different) but after a while he’ll even be rather playful when unveiling what he enjoys AND!! He’ll only pursue things with consent and if there’s ease from both parts, otherwise he won’t go for it. And now that I’m thinking about it, when it comes to playfulness...he might be a bit of a bratty sub from time to time, he’s known to not fully abide to rules 🙃
